Waredaca Horse Trials

Hey guys!
So Waredaca Horse Trials officially wrapped up my competition season. My students still have Rubicon to look forward to, but as for myself the long year has come to an end.

Baby Argie was Reserve Champion of the Area 2 Novice Championships. He got a stellar 24.7 in dressage. His show jumping was much better then it has been in the past and he had just one baby mistake with a rail. His XC was perfect as usual and despite the rail he finished in 2nd on a 28.7! Amy and Ricky competed in the Preliminary division. They had a good dressage with many improvements! Mr. Ricky was FANTASTIC in the jumping phases even saving Amy at the first show jump. They had two rails and some time faults but finished 8th with a beautiful XC. I could not be happier with Amy and Ricky's progress in the XC they made it look easy and added to their confident clean rounds this year. Erica and Carrie had a great dressage in the Open Training finishing 5th after the dressage phase. I was most happy with their Show Jumping as I saw so much progress in the way Carrie was jumping the fences. Erica ended up starting her XC round in the most severe of the down pours. The wind and rain made the already tough XC not ride well for most of her division. Although the round wasnt perfect I was so proud that Erica got Carrie around and finished despite the horrible weather and having no studs. This pair makes such a great team and I am sure we will see many successes in their future.

Everything around the barn is going great! Krisie and I are enjoying a much more relaxed schedule (Starbucks runs) now that show season is simmering down. Tika is loving her well deserved vacation. We are gearing up for the Nov. 14th bonfire party and of course everyone heading to Rubicon Horse Trials. We are all cheering Gilbert on in the WMZQ cutest pet in costume constest. Make sure you all vote!

Stay tuned for all the upcoming posts and results.
